50 States, 50 Pizzas – New Hampshire

I first made this pizza June 2011.  I made again June 2015.  I don’t think I will wait 4 years to make this again.  Believe it or not it is a Simple and Delicious pizza.  Give it a try!!

The State of New Hampshire was “Spicy Guacamole” pizza.  This is a thin crust pizza with 4 kinds of cheese.  I used white & yellow cheddar, monterey jack, and mozzarella.  Topped with diced tomatoes, red onion, guacamole and Sriracha sauce.  We all enjoyed this pizza.  If you like cilantro throw some in that guacamole!

Guacamole Pizza

Ingredients

2 avocados
1 lime
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

  1. For the guacamole, in a medium bowl place the scooped avocado pulp and lime juice, toss to coat.  (This lime juice prevents the avocado from turning brown AND gives a nice flavor).  Add the spices and mash.  I use a fork.  (I don’t use the food processor for guacamole.)
  2. Top the pizza with your cheeses, then add the sliced onion and diced tomatoes.
  3. I put the guacamole in a ziploc bag and cut the corner.  I then made a pattern on top of the vegetables as you can see in the photo.  Then dot the entire pizza with Sriracha sauce.
  4. Bake at 475 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Would I make it again?  Definitely.  That is all I have to say about this one.  Adiós!
