Did you know…

M&M’s originated in the U.S. in 1941.  The original colors for M&M’s were; red, yellow, brown, green and violet.  Their original packaging was a cardboard tube.  In 1950 they started to imprint a black “M” on the candy.  The white “M” replaced the black in 1954.  Peanut M&M’s were introduced in 1954 and their original color was tan.  1960 they added; red, green, yellow and orange for the peanut M&M.   Last but not least, in 1986 M&M’s launched the “Holiday” candies for Christmas and Easter.

What is your favorite M&M?  What about your favorite color?  My favorite is the peanut M&M and my favorite color is green.

  1. My favorite color is green, too! (and you know what they say about the “green ones” LOL)
Hard to say which is my favorite type though, depends on the season (was totally into the “white chocolate candy corn ones this past Halloween) and my mood……original, peanut butter, dark chocolate, pretzel, mint…………
